MEET JULIE #2!!
Julie was saved by a kind foster from a kill shelter. She had been picked up with her puppies, and the puppies were quickly adopted but Julie was not, and quickly began to deteriorate. Julie is timid and initially scared in new situations. Once she warms up, she is very affectionate and loving. Julie will need a gentle handler and a companion dog would be ideal. Julie is crate trained but becomes quite scared of being left in crate alone, and tries anything to prevent that. She does well crated with another dog. Julie can walk on leash but needs gentle encouragement. Julie is nervous with storms, car rides, loud noises or toys, and fast movements. Julie is not at all destructive. She has been ok with cats but has never been left unsupervised. Due to her fearful reaction to fast movements and noise, she would not be a good fit for small children. She has never been aggressive, but they make her quite anxious. Julie is trained to use a doggie door, but if she does not have access, she will go potty in the house. Julie is a sweetheart, who well may have been abused in the past, and deserves to be loved and live out her senior years giving and receiving love and loyalty.
