Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rufus (l), pictured with his friend Gizmo, is looking for a home.
Rufus was surrendered to HHBR by his owner. Rufus had been adopted in 2004; unfortunately his family is unable to keep him any longer. He gets along with other dogs and enjoys playing. He is ~6 years old, neutered, up-to-date on shots and on heartworm preventative. He weighs 51 pounds and has been well taken care of. Right before Christmas, he had a case of bloat and was lucky to survive. His family had the vet do everything possible to save his life, including surgery. Rufus has recovered from the surgery and the vet has given him a clean bill of health and a good prognosis. Rufus needs a home where his family with patiently work with him and help him be a good basset boy. If you are interested in giving Rufus a loving home please fill out an online application today.
