Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Picket is an almost 6 month old rescue pup. he resembles an Australian Shepherd or Spaniel. He weighs about 25 lbs right now. Picket is a playful and energetic pup who loves to chase down a ball or play tug. He is almost completely housebroken (he hasn't had an accident in several weeks) and rings a bell when he needs to be let out. He is also crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night or is in the crate when we're not at home. We've been working on leash training and he is doing well with that, regularly taking walks of about 1-1.5 miles. He is highly motivated by food and we've done some training with him simply using his kibble. He can sit, lay, and shake (as long as you give him food :)). We have also trained him to sit and wait to be released before diving into his food bowl. We have four kids so he has been well socialized with children and we have had him play with other dogs on multiple occasions where he has done well. He has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm meds. He was surrendered by his family because they decided they just weren't really dog people. I think he would really enjoy an active home with kids or other dogs and especially would love a fenced yard to run and play in.
