My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A few months ago, my owner and dear friend passed away, leaving me behind. Since then, as his estate goes through probate, I live in his house, alone. The neighbor feeds me, but I'm lonely and would love to find my new person.
Friends of my owner have tried to find me a new home, but all leads have fallen through. They even tried to get me into a rescue, to meet new friends, but every one they contact is filled to capacity and can't take me.
People tell me that my owner considered me the love of his life. And that in his final years, as he suffered from dementia, our relationship was the key to maintaining his quality of life. His eyes would fill with tears when he would talk about his concern for my well-being after he died - so his other friends are committed to doing what's best for me.
I'm about 10, up to date on shots, and the vet said that my recent blood test looked great! I a very sweet, loving cat, who will make a wonderful companion to someone!
