Lace is a 7 month old, shepherd mix. She is fully vetted, microchipped and spayed. Lace and her sister were rescued by an amazing veterinarian in Houston, TX. She reached out to SOT to get them placed with amazing families. Both Chantilly & Lace are very dog friendly, extremely people friendly and are doing well with the cats in their foster homes.
Lace is potty trained and is good about sleeping in her crate at night although she prefers to snuggle with her people. She is a high energy, very affectionate pup. She loves to run and play with her foster siblings, but will also lay on the couch chewing her bone for long periods of time. She would do very well with another dog to play with, or with someone who can get her out for exercise. Lace does have some anxiety about being in her crate, she prefers to be cuddled up with her humans or foster siblings. Lace is really a very sweet, well behaved pup!
Lace is currently being fostered in New England and is looking for her forever home in CT, ME, NH, VT, NY, or NJ.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, Adopt a Pet and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue and veterinary care of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes. The transport fee is an additional $225.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
