Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When 11 month old Max was first rescued from outside, he didn’t know what to think about the change of scenery – he had no idea what this whole “indoor living” thing was, but he knew he had lucked out with a roof over his head, a blanket to snuggle in and food in his belly.
Max was brought inside at 2 months old but his distrust of humans was off the charts. It took his foster months of patience and TLC to earn his trust but once he decided to give it he was all in. Max is a handsome kitty who loves head rubs, and chin pets to which he responds with loud purrs. He loves playing with toys on strings, chasing the laser light until he is too tired to stand and climbing and lounging on his cat tree. Once he feels safe and comfortable he is an affectionate, sweet and cuddly cat.
Max loves wet food, enjoys his kibble and is very treat motivated which is a great way to entice him and gain his trust. Max needs to find a home with another kitty who can help him with his confidence and who he can play and snuggle with. Max will be shy when he is transitioned into his new home but with time and patience we know that he will be the out-going, courageous and loving kitty he was meant to be.
