My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE

Quiggy was dumped/rescued on September 2, 2022 at a park in Garden Grove known for frequent animal abandonment. He was dumped along with four other innocent rabbits.

Quiggy is an adorable rex rabbit who is curious, funny, smart and loves to receive kisses. He has a gentle, affectionate and playful personality. He's independent yet friendly too!

Rex rabbits are known to be less allergenic than other rabbits because of their specific type of fur which feels like velvet! If you've never felt the luxurious coat of a rex rabbit, you're in for a treat! He has an easy-to-maintain coat.

Give this charming bunny a chance to hop into your heart for a lifetime of love and companionship!

Quiggy should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Quiggy can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
