FOSTER TO ADOPT ME!
Hi there, my name is Cucumber! I'm a very sweet, young man who is searching for my forever family. As I am currently undergoing the diagnostic process, it's important my family is on board to help me through this process. As this is currently ongoing, please refer to the rescues Facebook page for my most recent updates. I maybe have: liver challenges, heart challenges, deficiency challenges, or maybe no challenges! I had a rough start and my body is still sorting itself out. But Inuoya will be there to see me through, until we get all the answers!
I'm a shy guy with new people, so I'll pry need a couple visits to get comfortable with you. I bond very hard, and am the type of dog that will likely be a "one person" dog, choosing my favourite in the family. That doesn't mean I can't go to a family, and won't grow to like them, but my eyes will be for my favourite person.
I'm currently dog social, but am a softer guy, so making sure my canine companion(s) are well balanced will be important. I can also go solo. I haven't met a cat yet, but with proper introductions and training, should do just fine!
I'm working hard on my lifeskills: Crate training, leash walking, and house training. I can be a little vocal sometimes, but not the worst! I very much enjoy being with my people, so making sure to maintain my independence skills will be important so I don't develop separation anxiety tendencies.
I love to run, and play! The water is pretty cool, and I like to run through it. I also enjoy destroying soft, plushie things 😁
I'm really hoping my medical issues don't scare you away. Inugoya is going to be there to see you through, and make sure I get everything I need. My specialist is in Mississauga, so as long as you're able to get me to my appointments there, we are good! Please message for an application, if you can give a special guy like me, a forever home!
