Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Apple
DOB/Sex: 2/28/23 M (Will be neutered by rescue)
Breed: GSD
Known Health Issues: Overbite. Cryptorchid (will be resolved with neuter)
Good with: Dogs! Cats! Calm Kids!
Apple is a sweetheart of a puppy, that is ready to find his forever family!
Apple is the shyest puppy of the siblings. He takes time to warm up, and bond, but once he does, he is incredibly snuggly. He's a mix of curious about new environments, and being shut in. Giving him time to adjust is key. Patience, and understanding, while going at his pace will lead to a successful relationship. Once he's comfortable, he's very forward.
Apple is confident with other dogs, and a typical bratty shepherd in his play. A balanced, confident canine companion would be to his benefit. He would not be a dog to pair with another soft, people insecure dog. For the right match, he could go solo.
Due to his shy nature, and taking the time to bond, a home with rambunctious kids, who have trouble respecting boundaries would not be a match. A calm home, with patient children, who are able to give him the time and space he needs, will be considered.
He has not been exposed to cats, but can be successfully introduced due to his age, with 100% commitment to training.
Apple is working hard on crate training, leash walking, and house training. He enjoys structure, and typical of the breed, very intelligent and observant. He is a joy to have around, and I appreciate his quiet affection. He is easy to fall in love with, and bond to.
Apple will pair well with an active family, who enjoys training, and daily activities. At this time, he is a moderate German Shepherd, and will do well in a wide variety of homes, that match his energy. If he sounds like the boy for you, please message for an application.
