Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tootie and her brother Hootie are playful, friendly, 8-month old pups who were found as strays. They were scared when they landed in a noisy crowded shelter, but luckily for them, one of our amazing volunteers found out about them and brought them home from the shelter to foster until they each find a forever family. While they do love playing with each other, they aren’t bonded and will be adopted separately. They both weigh about 40 pounds. They need to fill out a little, and at only 8 months old they still have a little growing to do. We think they will probably be about 50-55 pounds when fully grown.
Tootie’s foster mom says “While they do have plenty of puppy energy, they have settled into indoor family living in no time! They are also really respectful of all the other dogs in the house. Tootie picked up on the aspect of fetch quickly and loves to play chase… and she also loves to just carry toys around. She and Hootie have met lots of kids at the bus stops and are happy to do so. We are practicing leash manners and they are mastering commands too.”
Tootie is crate trained and is crated during the day when her foster mom is out and about, but she sleeps in her foster mom’s room at night.
Tootie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventives. She is ready for summer fun with a forever family. If you’d like to adopt Tootie, please email ddogresq@aol.com for an application or more info.
