Meet Checker! Checker was roaming through town when he realized he does not belong there! He is currently enjoying his temporary stay at HSSW, while patiently waiting for his new family to come along and fall in love! Checker is a very sweet boy and will allow you to pet him just about anywhere and anytime! While he is very loving, he is also a bit of an independent guy and does enjoy some personal time to nap, window watch, or any other activities he may be introduced to in his new home! An adoption application is completed after an adopter finds the right match.

Cat fees: Senior - $35, Adult - $65, Kitten - $105.
Dog fees: Adult - $185, Puppy - $250

All adoptions include: spay/neuter, vaccines including rabies if age appropriate, deworm, heartworm or feline leukemia testing, flea/tick/ear mite treatment, 30 days free pet insurance, and a microchip.

Our adoption center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12pm-7pm, Closed (by appointment only) on Wednesday, and open Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-5pm.
