Do you have issues with the mailman, pizza guy, squirrels, or falling leaves going unnoticed in your home? Meet Rosie, a very stereotypical mini schnauzer.... intelligent, somewhat mischievous, often stubborn, & a *FANTASTIC* watchdog. Since her arrival in rescue, seldom has a visitor succeed in approaching her foster home without being announced!

Rosie is house trained & crate trained, but LOVES spending time with you, either at your feet or on your lap. She is good with other small dogs & cats, but is not crazy about large dogs or small humans.

Adopters committed to perimeter patrols (leash walking) & who are in need of a furry alarm system are her preferences. Telling Rosie "bleh-no-more-kisses-your-breath-smells-like-squirrel-pooop" is unwise and will only result in more facetime.

If you think ROSIE is the dog for you, please fill out an adoption application today!

ROSIE is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.

An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link -- https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption

Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt. The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PLEASE NOTE ~ All of our rescue members are volunteers with many obligations. While we may not be capable of immediate response, we will respond to all inquiries and application submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for thinking adoption!
