Meet the Pet
Take the Pet Home
This helps Grafelman Farms with pet care costs.
This beautiful 3-legged girl is Regina (Gina or GiGi for short) and she is a shepherd mix. Her mom is a shepherd mix, and we have no details on dad. She will likely be 50-60 lbs. when fully grown. Gina just celebrated her 1st birthday in March and is still awaiting her perfect forever family. She is the sweetest, loveable, playful girl who loves chew bones and toys. She also enjoys running and playing with the other dogs in her foster home, and cuddle with her humans. Gina does most everything the 4-legged dogs do, but she does tire out a little quicker. She would do better with a few shorter walks rather than 1 long walk. Gina is doing very well with sit, down, stay and no commands. Gina is housetrained, however, she is used to consistent potty breaks. She is also kennel trained and keeps her kennel clean. She sleeps on a dog bed in her foster parents’ bedroom, and she doesn't make a peep. Gina can be a little reserved with strangers and new things but is doing better every day with regular outings for socialization. Gina is an absolute sweetheart and loves praise, rubs, and treats. Gina’s adoption fee is $300 and helps cover her amputation, spay, vaccines, microchip registration and heartworm and flea preventatives to date. If you are interested in meeting Regina, please apply at www.gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog
