Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi New Friends,
My name is Susie and I’m a pretty and pretty famous bichon. The pretty part you can see from my photos so now on to the famous part. Well you see I was a little pup (12 pounds) with a huge mass (2½ pounds if you please) who was left at a shelter. I was so sick and scared and ready to give up. I had been living that way for many, many months. At the shelter I then developed this thing called pneumonia. (That’s even scary for a healthy pup) but… here comes the good part: My BFK Aunties swooped in, brought me out of that shelter, arranged for my surgeries and told people about me (that’s the famous part!) I was rescued!
My foster Mom says that my tail never stops wagging-- and I’m feeling so much better that I really want attention. One of the things I do to get attention is to jump up on my hind legs and ‘gently’ tap you on the arm (It works ‘cause I’m so cute!) I’ve also got my “spirit” back --and I’ve become a bit of a tease. I particularly like finding my doggy foster sister’s favorite toys… and stealing them! I take them to my bed and proudly display them for the world – and her- to see. (She wants to steal them back, of course, so it’s game on!)
Dad says I’ve also become a bit of a social butterfly. (I tell him I’m not a butterfly at all – I’m a FurKid!) Well, I was at a party with lots of the people they call adults and I had an amazing time going from person to person and lap to lap. There weren’t any children there so my BFK Aunties don’t know how I might be but I certainly do well with adults.
At 8 years of age I have a lot more adventures and experiences ahead of me and I can’t wait to have them with my forever family.
My Ideal Home MUST Have:
*Someone home most of the time
* A consistent and loving environment
* People who like to walk and enjoy having 'experiences'
Experience level:
*Recent experience with a youngish pup a plus
* Previous experience as a doggy parent
So if you are looking for a sweet, sassy, smart and super silly pup to fill your lap and life, please complete our application and ask for me. I’ll be waiting with my tail wagging.
Bichon kisses and cuddles,
Sassy and Sweet Susie
