Hi, my name is Paola and I'm now at KSC after acclimating in a lovely foster home. I was in an outdoor community of cats and a kind woman was making sure we had enough to eat. Then it got pretty cold and she was worried about me in particular because I'm a small girl. Since I spent most of my life fending for myself, I'm a bit cautious. I did let my former caregiver pet me and my new foster mom would wrap me in a towel and cuddle me which was nice - it made me purr and I even "made biscuits". I would sit next to my foster while she worked and I am making progress with humans - starting to learn that most are safe and kind. Still, I'm a shy girl so I will need a forever home where my person(s) will go slowly with me. I can't wait to have a place to call my own and a family to love me. Oh, also, I think I would prefer a home without children or dogs that might scare me.
I do get along with other kitties, especially the other quiet girls here - Lindy, Petunia and Claudette and would like to go home with one of them. I feel safe and secure with them. We’d love a quiet home where we can have a friend, have time to acclimate and thrive together.
