Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

COURTESY POSTING:
Roscoe is in foster care for Santa Barbara County Animal Services. Please contact k9krma@gmail.com if you are interested in him.
Roscoe is a really delightful young dog, approx. 1 year old. He was found as a stray in December and adopted by his finder, but the other dog in the household didn't like his youthful energy (of which there is an abundance) so he returned him to the shelter recently. Roscoe is now in foster care with 8 other dogs and a cat and doing great!
Roscoe is high energy, very playful, and full of fun; he's perfect for an active household and would make a great hiking or running companion. He's also perfect for a family with another active playful dog, as he is super social! He loves EVERYBODY, including kids, but is too rowdy for really small ones at the moment.
Roscoe is housebroken, crate trained, and good on leash. He's starting to learn sit, come, etc. He does have one challenge: he is congenitally deaf. It will make training him a bit more complicated, since he will need visual commands (hand signals), but dogs actually do better with visual training, and he is smart and eager to please. And he's always nearby, so not being able to hear at home doesn't affect your ability to find him. In fact, you wouldn't know he was deaf except he doesn't wake up when his foster mom comes home and he's asleep!
