Honey was abandoned in the pistachio orchards of Merced. She is an adorable 12 pound chihuahua mix approximately 2 years old. She is affectionate, smart, and very athletic. She has a mind of her own. She lives in a foster home with two other dogs and a cat. She has learned quickly how to get along with the other animals of the home. But Honey would prefer to be the only child and would do best with a person who wants to continue to train this intelligent girl. She loves her walks and hikes and needs a confident leader to teach her basic commands and help her adapt to a new environment.

Honey needs a home with secure fencing and patient loving adults, no children, and with at least one adult home part time. She needs exercise to release her energy and to help her bond with her new person.

She is crate trained. Loves her treats. And absolutely loves her walks!
