Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Stripe. He’s called Stripe because he has a stripe down his forehead and a 4-yr-old named him, but don’t worry— you can change it.
Most of Stripe’s story is unknown. He showed up as a stray at animal control extremely underweight. He’s estimated to be 10-12 weeks old. His breed? Your guess is as good as ours. We think maybe whippet or greyhound because his legs are super long but his paws are pretty small so we don’t think he’ll get much bigger than 45 pounds. Most likely Stripe is your all-American mutt, and that’s great because they make the best dogs anyway.
What we do know is that Stripe already really likes kids. He can get mouthy (he’s a baby after all) but he listens to correction easily. He’s good with other dogs so far and because he’s so young, we bet he’ll be great with cats if he grows up in a home with one. He stays in a crate at night and is quiet and has been pooping only outside as long as he’s let out often (much to his foster mom’s delight).
Stripe will need to be neutered and microchipped before adoption, so he won’t be available for a few weeks, but submit your application now and his forever home could be waiting for him as soon as he’s ready!
