Princess was found as a stray in a field in Highland and taken to Devore Shelter. Sadly, because she had a slight sneeze, she was put on the rescue only list for medical. We think if she had been put on the adoption floor, she would have been adopted right away. She took her meds and we pulled her on her last day of meds...also, the day she was set to be euthanized.
Princess now has a new lease on life. This little girl is amazing! We got her checked out by our vet, who gave her a clean bill of health (no tracia issues, no upper respiratory issues, etc.) and estimates she is probably around 2, no more than 3 years old. Princess is potty trained, good on a leash, loving and affectionate. She is great with both the big pit bulls and the small pugs in her foster home. She is good with all people. Her tail wags non-stop. Princess can be independent, but she also really craves attention from her foster.
Princess would do well in just about any home. Ideally, we would like for her to go into a home that wants to really spoil her. She deserves it!
If you don't know much about this rare breed, we suggest you look into them at the above links as she fits the profile. I don't think she is completely pure-bred Norwich Terrier though.
Princess' adoption fee includes vaccinations, microchip and spay. Please fill out an adoption application to be considered. Response times are within 24 hours. We do not adopt outside Southern California.
