Meet Bailey! This incredible love of a dog is a cheerful senior shepherd mix around 11.5 years old. Grab some tissues because you will never believe how Bailey spent the first 10 years of her life… Bailey was part of a group of dogs living outdoors on a property in Texas. At some point in her life this sweet girl was SHOT and never brought to the vet for treatment. Her injuries healed on their own leaving her with some permanent weakness in her hind end.
Despite the awful pain and suffering Bailey has gone through, she is still incredibly friendly and trusting of people! She is a remarkable example of resilience with a determination to survive. Bailey doesn’t let her hind end disability get her down. She’s a lively girl with a spunky spirit that is apparent when you spend time with her! At the Adoption Center, Bailey lays in her kennel waiting patiently for her turn to go out. She perks up, looking adoringly in anticipation every time someone walks by in hopes they will give her some attention! Once she knows you are indeed there for her, she slides out of her bed and does her Tippy Tappy Paw Dance as you put her leash on!
Bailey is house trained and super easy going with a chill, down to earth energy. She doesn’t require tons of exercise but give her a squeaky plush toy and she comes alive! Bailey will stop at nothing to get to the middle and find that squeaker! It is a real treat to watch this senior lady play like a puppy! All Bailey wants in life is a warm, caring family for her to spend the rest of her precious golden years with. She is content sunbathing in the yard, taking car trips and following you around the house soaking in all the love you have to offer her! Bailey is a true joy, as she exudes love and gratitude, savoring each precious moment she spends with people.

SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.
