Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riggs is an 8-month-old Aussie that currently weighs less than 30 pounds. He is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped, and on heartworm preventatives.
Riggs is shy and sensitive at first, but his funny, sweet, intelligent personality is well worth the wait! Riggs is great with other dogs but is untested with cats and kids. A fenced yard of his own is recommended for this curious boy and he really enjoys having his own yard to explore and play in.
He currently has someone home with him all day on most days, and has access to a dog door, but he can be trusted to let his owners know when he needs to go outside when dog doors are not available. He becomes anxious when left alone and has shown himself to be a crate escape artist. He was recently left out while alone for a short time and did much better. Riggs is a wonderful car rider, and good on the leash. He will bark when excited, especially at men, but has never tried to bite.
If Riggs sounds perfect for you, please fill out the application:
There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
