SELINA is a sweet young Silver Dilute Torbie. She is a small girl, about 6 lbs. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Nogales Arizona with her two kittens. The kittens have been adopted and she is now looking for a great home.
PERSONALITY: SELINA is a sweet loving girl, who, after she knows she can trust you, becomes a loving lap cat, who craves your attention. After a period of introduction, she likes other cats and wants to play with them.
HINTS:
If you know cats, you will not be surprised to see that SELINA will hide, at first. She may hide for a day or two, maybe three. This is to be expected. If you are patient, SELINA will become your loving companion. At my home, it took her three weeks to decide to join me in bed.
TIPS on how to introduce yourself to a CAT:
1. Get Down to Her Level
2. Use Her name
3. Give Her your hand to sniff ·
4. Do NOT touch her
5. Wait for her to touch you
6. Let Her Take the Lead
7. Don't Stare at Cat — It's Rude ·
8. Watch Her Body Language,
a. She is NOT a dog..... A wagging tail means she is agitated ·
b. Ears back means she is UPSET.... back off!!

d.PURRING means she has accepted you
e.Rubbing her body on yours means she likes you and you are now her property.
