Rescue Story
There were a couple of stray dogs in the rural area in Korea. They were captured and brought to the high kill shelter in Korea. Yundoo was one of those wild dogs when he was rescued. It was obvious that he had never walked before and resisted walking with a collar and a leash for 6 months after he was rescued. Thanks to our rescuer and his foster mom, he now has a great walking manner.
About Him/Her
Yundoo was a wild stray dog who had never lived with humans before. It took a while but he became an affectionate, gentle, and calm dog who loves his foster mom in Korea. Thanks to the rescuer and the foster mom’s effort, he learned that he can trust humans. He was reactive with a collar and a leash in the beginning because he never had one for him before. He now has a great walking manner. He doesn’t pull, he walks beside his human, and he doesn’t react to other animals during his walk. He is such a loving and gentle dog who loves enjoying cuddle time with the foster mom every morning on the bed. He gently asks for petting and gives kisses saying ‘Good morning’.
He accepts pets from strangers and his foster mom can groom him without any issue. He became a submissive, gentle, loving dog from a wild animal. He might be cautious and timid with strangers just like other rescue dogs.
He is cautious, he is still scared of the sound of bouncing balls and he might be startled with new things just like other rescue dogs because of lack of experience. The adopter should need to introduce new things slowly with baby steps.
He never had toys before so he doesn’t know how to play with them. His favorite thing is walking and running with his human. He is currently in foster care in Korea and he will be scheduled to come to Canada once we find either an adopter or foster for him.
Medical Notes
🐾 Overall healthy (He had heartworm 2nd stage and it is all treated.)
