Who’s the best friend you could make? You bet, it’s Becky! Becky is an 8-year old yellow Lab weighing in at 80lbs. Seeing her dazzling smile, you’d never know she’s had it rough. Until we rescued her, Becky was never given much regard. She was used for backyard breeding and was treated like cattle. Not anymore! Becky is ready to be loved as a family member, as she deserves. Like other Labrador Retrievers, at her core, Becky is a happy-go-lucky lady who has a big smile and a big heart. Due to her circumstance, however, she has learned to be timid and unconfident. She’s still surprised to see people care about her, but is grateful when they do. Becky follows her person from room to room and completely dedicates herself to them. The only thing she loves more than her person is her canine companions! Becky loves other dogs and often depends on them for comfort and confidence.

🌼Becky is still unconfident due to her past. She will require a patient owner and a quieter home.
🌼Ideally, we'd like Becky to have a dog-friend but it is not necessary.
🌼While we know she loves other dogs, we are unsure on her sociability with cats
🌼Due to her previous lifestyle, at this time Becky needs to be on leash or in a secure, fenced area.

Once we receive a completed application, that is approved, we move on to do a vet check. If everything goes well, then we set up a meet and greet following that just because you apply for a foster dog does not necessarily mean you will be contacted in regards to your application.
Becky is up to date on her vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, and Bordetella. She is also fecal & heartworm tested, microchipped and spayed.
