My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shady is a sweet, loving girl who enjoys being with people. She is enthusiastic about going for long walks and happily rides in the car. Shady was born in January of 2023 and already weighs 40 pounds.. She is growing into a big beauty with a big heart. She is always excited to see you and happy to accompany you on an adventure. Shady likes to play with other dogs, especially her sister, Dusky. She makes friends (people and dogs) easily and will be a great addition to any household. So open your home and your heart to this pretty princess. You'll be glad you did.

Go meet their pets

Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
