Remington is a fun loving 6mo Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. He is a sweet boy and loves to cuddle in the evenings, he loves bananas and ice cubes as treats, and he is very food motivated. He knows basic commands (e.g. sit, shake, etc) and he is a good guard dog that will alert you when there are strange sounds, someone's at the door, or there is unusual activity around the house. He's good with other dogs but has not been tested with cats and he loves his people.
There are some issues we've noticed with him, however. He tends to guard his food, chew toys are a must to keep him busy, and his nose tends to get him in trouble when exploring (and can lead to him chewing on something he's not supposed to). He is still a puppy so he has a lot of puppy energy that he needs to get out during the day and due to this, he may not do well with small children. He needs a family that can spend a lot of time with him, to train him and reinforce the rules of the house.
