My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Claire is a brave and devoted mama cat who gave birth to her kittens is a lawn bag under someone's porch! She protected and nursed her little ones until they were all taken in together and were safely indoors. Now Claire is in need of a safe and stable home so she will not have to return to the streets in Brooklyn!
She can be adopted as a solo kitty, which maybe best since we do not know whether she would like the company of another cat...When Claire's foster human is in the room, Claire will sometimes lie down next to her on the chair, or rub up against her legs and ask to be pet. We know that when the kittens are around, the mother cats are often protective, but this gal is quite trusting and allows full access to her kittens.
She will occasionally bat around a toy, but she is content to lie around, eat and sleep. She expended a lot of her time and energy focused on her babies, so she is all tuckered out now!
Claire would flourish in a home with a person who has some cat experience, and who has a big heart! This young mama cat deserves a chance at life in a home where she is loved and cared for, with no fear of ending up back on the streets.
