My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dashley is a happy girl with plenty of enthusiasm and love to share. She was born in May of 2022 and weighs about forty pounds. She gets along great with other dogs and loves to run and play. Give her a doggy pool and she will splash with joy. Dashley is a real talker and will tell you lots of stories with her Husky vocabulary. Ready to join an active household, Dashley will make someone, or some family, a wonderful companion.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
