My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brodie

How can you not love a dog like Brodie? She has such a sweet personality and loving disposition. She is housebroken and crate trained. She lets you know when she has to go out to potty. If left alone in the home, she is the perfect lady and wouldn't dream of chewing on things or making a mess. And Brodie is super smart! She loves to go for walks and is a great traveling companion in a vehicle. And did we mention that she's great with kids?

Brodie was rescued from Duplin County Animal Services on her last day and she has proven to be a great save! Only two years old and 47 pounds, she now has a chance for a new beginning with a forever family! Brodie is fully vaccinated, dewormed, spayed and microchipped.

Her primary breed looks to be that of a Polish Hound but she's probably mixed with a Redbone Coonhound as well. But whatever her blend, her endearing disposition will make her a loyal friend and great family addition! Please email adoptionsecondchance@gmail.com if you are interested or need more information. Applications can be downloaded from the website secondchancehabitat.org.

More about this rescue

Second Chance Habitat:
We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned animals in harms' way find humane, life affirming alternatives to "euthanasia"; we save healthy, loving, adoptable dogs whose days are numbered in stressful, crowded high kill shelters in the surrounding area; we care for feral and unadoptable cats in our one of a kind, cage free, safe-haven sanctuary in Chesapeake VA.
