My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amanda was rescued from Duplin County just before she was to be euthanized and she is such a great dog! The dog scanner identified her as a blend of a Rafeiro Do Alentejo, Anatolian Shepherd and a touch of St. Bernard (but not nearly as large).

This little lady is very social and affectionate! Amanda loves to give kisses and is eager to please her humans. She is good with other dogs and doesn't even bark when she sees them in the distance. At only one year old, she is fun to watch doing "zoomies" in the yard (fenced, please!)
but will quickly wear herself out (like a puppy) and come in to crash and sleep.

She would be good with kids, too, but at 60 pounds, probably not toddlers or infants just because of her size. Ten and up would be a perfect match for her.

But Amanda is so good (and quiet) in her crate. She will sleep through the night without making a sound and she is also housebroken! She's just a sweetheart in every regard.

She is fully vaccinated and dewormed, on heartworm and flea prevention, heartworm negative and will be spayed and microchipped as soon as possible.
