My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Comet is a 4 year old, all black medium haired cat. He is rather large-framed, weighing about 11 to 12 pounds, but is not overweight. He is the sweetest male cat I have encountered in a while. He does take some time to warm up to new people, but he is very social and likes to be with his humans.

Comet likes to play, especially with fishing pole toys, and never seems to lose energy. He does like to venture outside a bit in our backyard, but he is not an outdoor cat and will turn tail and run back in at the slightest sound. He is an avid eater of plants, both real and fake as I have learned. He also likes to be chased by both humans and cats.

Comet sees the vet regularly and is currently being monitored at his yearly checkups for a slight heart murmur. He is currently graded a high 1 to a low 2 on a scale of 5, but does not receive medication or additional therapies for his condition. He does fine with boarding and pet sitters while we are gone.
