Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie and Letty are a pair of happy, sweet, fun and friendly, dogs looking for a loving guardian – preferably together.
Charlie is a seven-year-old, 40-pound male Cocker Spaniel/Poodle-mix. Letty is a seven-year-old, 65-pound female Lab/Terrier-mix.
These dogs know basic commands, walk well on leash, are great in the car, wonderful in the home, are good with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages.
While they were accustomed to a house with a yard, for the past two months they have been living with a fabulous foster dad who walks them three times a day. They are happier and have lost weight.
They lost their original home when their dad was diagnosed with dementia; he was forced to move and couldn’t take his beloved dogs.
These are lovely, healthy dogs looking forward to a new family. They are well-trained; don’t sleep on the bed. They are not picky eaters and are housebroken.
They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. They are enjoying their daily exercise and healthier diet.
Their adoption fee of $275 as a pair benefits rescue and includes all you need to care for them. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting both of these dogs, please fill out the application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and then follow up by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com for an appointment to meet them.
They are currently in a foster home in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago.
