DanDan & Whiskey are best friends, looking for a home together! Apply here to meet them. They've been together since they were kittens, sadly their family had a human baby who was allergic to them. Here's what their foster home says about them:
"DanDan is such a sweet boy. He'll stand up with paws stretched up, asking to be picked up. Then he'll put his arms on either side of your neck in a hug and bury his head in your neck. He's also a talker and will let you know that he wants affection."
Whiskey is quieter than his adopted brother DanDan, but he is the first to run and sweetly greet me when I get home. Last night, Whiskey laid across my neck (see photo). Of course, I didn't move, and let him sleep that way for a few hours.
Whiskey gets a stuffy nose just about every day. One good sneeze and he's good, or if I hear congested breathing, I apply a warm compress and wipe his nose." Whiskey got fully vet checked: No allergies, no lung issues confirmed by an x-ray of the body/lungs, 5-panel test for possible virus or bacteria all negative. Finally we did a xray of the skull, and the vet said it's due to a naturally narrow nasal passage that he was born with.
DanDan's birthday is February 19, 2018, and he weighs 12 lbs 8 oz. Whiskey's birthday is April 27, 2019, and he weighs 11 pounds even. DanDan is solid gray and looks somewhat like a Russian Blue but he is has regular domestic short hair fur (regular allergenic). Whiskey has Abyssian like markings but is also a Domestic Shorthair mix. The AdoptaPet website only lets one breed be selected.
