Benny is a 3 year old red merle aussie who came onto rescue because of a situation where he was required to spend too many hours crated. He is medium high energy with a great off switch. He is excellent with people but needs work on how to greet appropriately. He loves to go for walks and walks well on a loose leash. Although he likes other dogs, he’s pushy with them and would do best in a home with no dogs or a dog his size that will tolerate his exuberance.
Benny is a pork chop right now at a whopping 70#’s! He’s a big guy and should end up in the 50# range. He good with kitties.
Benny would do great in a home where he will get adequate exercise and attention. He’s good with kids but because of his size and exuberance, he would do best with older kids. Benny is being fostered near Duluth, MN.
All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in.
