Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
*Piper is one of our Home for the Holidays featured pets! Her adoption fee is sponsored and also comes with a customized training package from Paws & Play Dog Resort & Training Center!*
Piper`s Compatibility: Dogs & Cats - No, thank you! Kids - Yes, teens and older are great!
Meet Piper, a fun-loving girl who’s ready to light up your life! Piper is looking for a family that can offer her the guidance, encouragement, and lots of love she deserves. She’s already housebroken and crate trained, and she’s mastering basic commands with a wagging tail. Piper can even get into her crate all by herself!
Piper is a bit shy and needs some time to warm up to new people. She doesn’t like to be startled, so a calm and gentle approach will help her feel secure. While she gets along well with kids, she’d prefer older teens who can respect her boundaries. Piper would thrive in a home without other pets, so a feline- and dog-free environment would be ideal.
Piper has a flair for posing pretty for the camera, capturing hearts with her adorable side. If you’re ready for a playful, affectionate companion who brings the sparkle everywhere she goes, Piper might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet her and see if she’s the one to complete your family!

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.
This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
