Activity Level: A little active
Level of Training:
Some of the basics
Housebroken: Yes
Crate Trained: No
My favorite place to sleep:
On the couch
My favorite activity is:
Chewing on a new bone
My favorite snack is:
I'm not picky, but I am hesitant at first to eat treats in front of humans
I get along with / like:
Big Dogs, Little Dogs
I do not get along with / like:
Being Alone
I'm scared of:
Loud noises and sudden movements
My foster parent(s) describe me as:
I'm a lover boy at heart! Although I can be slow to trust new people and dogs. Once I have the time to learn more about my surroundings, my personality begins to shine through. I love nap time on the couch and running around the backyard with my friends. I don't have a favorite toy, but I'll choose toys depending on my mood for the day! When you first meet me, you'll have to show me that your intentions are good and then I will slowly start to become more curious about what you're up to over time. Expect to be followed around the house or yard once I feel you're a safe person. I am learning that the crate isn't a scary place but a safe space just for me. Overall, you'll need patience and understanding with me so that I have the time to learn you. Once you show me that I am safe and sound in your home, you'll be lucky to have me.
My best day would be to:
I would wake up to breakfast in bed - well, breakfast on the couch. My family would buy every different texture toy and let me choose whichever one I wanted. I wouldn't have to go in the crate the entire day and would have access to outside whenever I wanted. I'd have my dog friends with me during outside time so I could chase them around the yard, but I do like my nap time alone. My human would be there through it all, especially when I lean on them for pets.
Other tidbits about me:
I am still learning to trust humans and other animals, so I need a patient and observant owner. I am very sweet and I have never displayed any sign of aggression. My most noticeable attribute is my anxiety and nervousness with unfamiliar situations, I will definitely adjust well with a routine. In general, I am a loving pup that will do well with someone who is committed to building trust with me.
