Ravioli has become a shelter Icon! He is normally one of the first you will meet when you come through the door. He keeps a pretty good eye on all of the volunteers and always wants to check out new cats. He seems to think he is the Shelter Manager at this point. Ravioli and his siblings were brought to us in pretty rough shape when they were just tiny kittens with their Mom. Although we have enjoyed watching him "grow up" we also wish his forever family would find him. Ravioli has grown into a beautiful and good size cat with an equally "large" personality to match. He is a character for sure! He is a playful boy that also enjoys a warm spot in a cat tree by the window. He does like other cats but also likes to taunt certain ones occasionally (just so they remember who is boss). He loves attention, loves to be held, loves to be kissed on the head (just not in front of others when he is trying to assert his authority), and is happy to just sit on your lap for as long as you let him. A special thing about Ravioli is he does seem to understand when another cat is not feeling well and wants to be near them. I have caught him sneaking into the isolation room, where I find him sitting quietly next to the cat kennel of a sick or new cat. Ravioli has a beautiful soul that is just waiting to be shared with a special family.
**Ravioli does have food allergies, his allergies are specific to fish and seafood. When feed a consistent fish-free diet Ravioli will remain (digestive) symptom free. No medications required. A consistent diet will be essential to keep Ravioli healthy and happy! AGAIN, this is a food allergy which can be easily managed. Sadly, we feel like this is why such a great cat has been overlooked and remained at our shelter for so long. We have been able to manage this with 50 other cats, so even if you have another cat(s) Ravioli could still fit into your family by just taking fish off the "cat's menu". ***
Ravioli's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative and microchip. If you would like to meet this handsome guy please submit an online adoption application at our website: littleorphans.org Give our Adoption Team a little time to process the info. They communicate primarily by email, so watch your inbox (and spam folder) for messages. We can arrange a time for you and your family to come meet this boy and all of the cat's currently in our shelter.
