Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Young Chewy is a 10 month old pup who is already neutered and vaccinated as well as microchipped. He is a happy guy and listens very well for his age. You would think he would be noisy with those breeds but that is not the case. Added bonus, he is also house-broken. Chewy is a nice size, somewhere around 40 pounds. Not as big as a Cattle Dog and not as small as a Beagle. He was loved by his family but they were forced to move in with a family member and were not able to take him. But he got on well with all their kids and he is fine with the resident dogs in his foster home. He shouldn't be fed right next to another dog because he does not like to be disturbed when he eats. Chewy should be supplied with plenty of bully stix or other hard bones (no rawhide tho) because he does live up to his name and will get a shoe or two if left unattended. He should be crated when he is alone or unsupervised.
Chewy is very loving and is just an all-around happy dog. He is learning to play fetch and he is not bad on a leash. He would enjoy daily walks and to just be allowed to be part of the family.
Please submit an online application if interested (www.allstarpetrescue.com). Chewy's adoption fee is $300.
