Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are interested in Catalina, please fill out an application at https://brokenheartsrescue.wixsite.com/mysite/general-6 NOT AT ADOPT-A-PET.
Young momma Catalina has already had a rough start to life. At just about a year old she already had at least one litter of kittens (Island 2 crew) and her and her kittens ended up at the shelter. Well no more kittens for this sweet girl.
She is a bit cautious of new situations but absolutely loves chin scratches. If you move a bit too fast she will tell you with a hiss, but she has never slapped or tried to bite. If you slow down she is all in for those chin scratches.
Catalina will need a home that is slow paced and calm. We are told she loves respectful and calm kids more than adults but we have not been able to test that.
If you can pamper this little gal and treat her like a princess please fill out our adoption application. She is spayed and up to date on shots and wormed.

We require all adopters to fill out our application to help determine if the dog/cat they are interested in will be a good fit.
2.
Meet the Pet
We require all people and dogs at the home to meet the dog they are wanting to adopt.
3.
Home Check
We do a home visit to talk to the family about the particular dog. We look to see where the dog will live and its a safe environment.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
We do an adoption contract once other steps have been approved. To transfer ownership of animal. Gives requirements on treatment of animals.
Additional adoption info
Our contract requires that the animal comes back to us if it does not work out, it requires the adopter to keep up on the medical and general care and health of the dog/cat.

We are a small non-profit 501(c)3 rescue located in Twin Falls, Idaho. We have been involved in rescue for 10+ years.
The need for animal rescue is great everywhere as anyone involved with rescue will tell you. The shelters are over crowded and the dogs and cats continue to poor in on a daily basis. We work with local and surrounding area shelters to help with the overcrowding, special needs, senior and unsocial animals that do not have a good chance at adoption in a shelter setting. We take some owner surrenders if we have a foster available and depending on the situation. Our priority is furkids at risk of euthanasia or needing special care.
