My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dimitri, an incredible rescue dog who is eagerly waiting for a loving forever home. This playful and outgoing pup had a rough start in life when he, along with his litter mates, was abandoned in Lamar, Arkansas at just 10 weeks old. Thankfully, Dimitri found his way into a rescue organization, where he has been receiving the care and attention he deserves.

Dimitri's outgoing and friendly nature makes him an absolute joy to be around. He adores people and thrives on human companionship. Whether it's cuddling on the couch, going for walks, or engaging in playtime, Dimitri is always eager to spend quality time with his favorite humans.

Playfulness is a defining trait for Dimitri, and he particularly loves playing fetch. His enthusiasm for the game is infectious, and it's an excellent way to bond with him while providing both mental and physical stimulation. Dimitri's love for playtime extends to other activities as well, making him an ideal companion for an active individual or family.

Leash training is going well for Dimitri, indicating that he is already making progress in his training. With continued consistency and positive reinforcement, he will likely excel in his obedience training and further develop his leash manners. This smart and eager-to-please pup is a quick learner and will thrive under the guidance of an adopter who can provide him with structured training sessions.

It's important to note that Dimitri has plenty of energy to burn, so daily exercise will be crucial in keeping him happy and healthy. He will benefit from regular walks, runs, or interactive play sessions in a secure yard. Providing him with outlets for his energy will not only keep him physically fit but also contribute to his overall well-being.

Dimitri has received essential veterinary care, including vaccinations and preventive treatments, during his time in the rescue. However, ongoing veterinary check-ups and a nutritious diet will be essential to maintain his health and ensure a long and happy life.

If you're seeking an energetic and affectionate companion, Dimitri might be the perfect match for you. His outgoing personality, love for people, and playful nature make him an exceptional addition to any loving home. If you're ready to open your heart and provide Dimitri with the forever home he deserves, consider adopting him and embark on a wonderful journey filled with love, companionship, and joyful adventures.
