My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Levi Lee!

Levi Lee is a 5 year old Pit Bull mix who weighs 50 pounds. Levi Lee is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves to go on long walks, play with his toys, and especially enjoys cuddling on the couch. He is one of the most playful boys that you`ll ever meet and can`t get enough of his favorite toys! Once he has a tennis ball or a squeaky toy, there’s no stopping his playful nature! Levi spent some time in a foster home and he got raving reviews. He was completely potty trained and was a wonderful cuddling companion.

Levi Lee enjoys spending time with most dogs, however he can be selective of sharing space with another dog, so he may be best as the only dog in his forever home. If you have other dogs, we could go over how to successfully make Levi a part of a multi dog household. If there are children in his forever home they need to be ages 10-13 and older. This handsome fellow can`t wait to find his forever family to take him on plenty of adventures.

If Levi Lee looks like the dog for you, Give us a call at 330-487-0333 ext 803 to learn more about him , or stop by the facility at 752 West Portage Trail, 44313, to met this boy!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability.

We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. Please contact us by phone at (234) 212-9843 or email at adoptions@summithumane.org, and an adoption counselor will return your message. They will review our adoption process, answer any questions, and tell you more about the animals currently available for adoption at our shelter and in our foster program. If we have a match for you and your family, an appointment will be scheduled to meet the animal.

Additional questions can be directed to our adoption team at (234) 212-9843.
