CHIMAY & SHINER
Both were born 22 September 2021 (approx. 1 year 8 months)
Father is a traditional, while mother is a non-traditional Calico RagDolls.
This brother and sister are very bonded and should NOT be separated. They follow each other around all day and seem lost without one another. They have no problems with other cats, but they have not been around dogs at all. They even stayed away from my grandsons until they got used to them. I brush them almost everyday and usually trim their front nails twice a month and they utilize scratching posts daily. At night we keep them in our large laundry room with water, food and litter box and they are used to this routine and just go in at night.
CHIMAY:
Female and is named after our favorite Belgian beer. She has been chipped, spayed and vaccinated to include rabies & distemper even though they are indoor cats. I took her, along with her brother, because she was the “runt” of seven in the litter. She had to be individually fed for 8 weeks because of getting shut out by the others from their mother. However, you should see her eat now. She has an insatiable appetite and seems always hungry. She prefers wet food but will eat BLUE dry food when hungry. (that is what I always bought for them). Oh yes, she always loves a small amount of canned wiped cream in the morning when we have our morning coffee. She is affectionate and playful and does not back down from her larger brother. She is a beautiful orange and white cat weighing 6 lbs. No health issues at all.
SHINER:
Male and is named after the Texas beer. Like his sister, he is fully vaccinated, chipped and is neutered. At this writing, Shiner is approx. 14 lbs with a full, beautiful coat. He reminds me of a happy dog who follows me around all over the house. If we do not show him the attention he wants, he will just follow Chimay. He is very, very affectionate, and like his sister, loves to be in your lap. My wife and I refer to him as just a large baby!!! He prefers dry food but will eat a little wet food until his sister pushes him away and likes to drink water out of the faucet.
