My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barney the Beagle is about 3 years old, and should weigh about 30 lbs when he gains a few pounds. Barney and Reba were found wandering in a rural county; when their family found them at the shelter, they said that Barney and Reba weren't good hunting dogs, so they didn't want them back! Their skin was covered with sores and "hot spots" and they were very thin, but a few weeks of a healthy diet and good care has made a world of difference. Barney is friendly and would be a great dog for an active family.
