My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This is a courtesy posting. Please call 410-627-6563 for information.

Stunningly handsome Romeo is a very sweet, 18 month old, 105 lb Great Pyrenees. He is housebroken, good on leash and knows some basic commands. He loves every person he meets. Romeo especially enjoys long walks in cool weather and lots of ear rubs. We have found that Romeo is good with other dogs but he needs a little time to warm up to them. Romeo requires a home with a fenced yard and someone with Great Pyrenees or working dog experience. There are no exceptions to these requirements.

We only adopt to Maryland residents within 30-40 miles of Baltimore, MD.

More about this rescue

Pet Rescue of Maryland is a non-profit animal rescue dedicated to saving the lives of dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. We are staffed only by volunteers and rely in the kindness of our community to financially support our efforts. We do not have a central shelter. All of our animals are fostered in our homes as if they were our pets. This allows us to assess each animal and help find the home that best fits with their needs. We treat each animal as if they are part of our family until they become part of yours.
