Emerald is an adorable and smiley adult pit bull terrier. She has the sweetest eyes and the most lovable underbite. Emerald was found on the streets of Chicago in pretty bad shape. You would have no idea that she had gone through so much in her short life span because she is so friendly and loving. After three facial surgeries her smile shines through and she is always excited to get belly rubs and love.

Emerald is energetic and is playful and sweet. Emerald would do best as an only dog in her forever home.

Emerald is energetic and loves exploring. She would benefit from a rather active family. A family that won’t mind taking her for long walks or running around with her in the backyard. She also loves snuggles and sleeping on your lap.
Emerald knows "sit" and is crate trained! Emerald is the most loving dog. She has been through so much and has overcome so much. She is always smiling and her playful demeanor is the cuties! She sleeps with her tongue out and hops around when excited. She is the sweetest. While Emerald is missing her nose, that doesn't stop her! She is the cutest and just wants to be a normal dog.
