My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUMMER UPDATE: Pablo is gaining ground and doing well; we are still working on his social skills and walking on leash; it takes time. He loves to run around and dart back and forth outside in a fenced yard. Pablo is fast! He knows his routine and has become very comfortable with it. He is kennel/crate trained and potties outside with scheduled potty calls. Pablo is quite playful, and will give the best play-bows! He is also a silly boy, with so many expressions! He is not yet playing with toys, as he is still discovering what toys are all about. Pablo is a work in progress; nevertheless, we hope to find him a forever home sooner than later. He is to the point now that he truly needs someone to accept him as he is and who can dedicate the time and patience to get him to the next level in his development. A home with a fenced yard, preferably a fence 5-6 feet tall would be ideal. Pablo has never lived with children, so we are recommending older teens and adults only. A home with another dog would be great, but a dog that is confident, friendly, and playful without being "too alpha" would be best. Pablo needs guidance from another dog, not to be "strong-armed" or should we say "strong-pawed" to be put in his place. It is amazing what dogs can teach and show each other when you find the right combination of personalities.
