Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nelson and his brother Willie showed up as strays or were dumped at someone's house in the country. The lady had to feed them in secret because her husband didn't allow it and didn't want them to stick around. They live by a highway and the lady was worried that they would get hit by a car. So she reached out to rescues and now these babies are with us.
Nelson is absolutely adorable and the more 'needy' one out of the pair. He just wants to be with me all the time and wants to cuddle and get petted. He walks right next to me wherever I go. He is submissive with other dogs but likes to play and loves chew toys. He is also great around the cats, including kittens. He will be a gentle, loving, big boy when he grows up and will make a great family pet or cuddle buddy.
He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted in WA state or Oregon where people treat animals well, unlike here. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in either Tukwila, Tacoma, or Portland. If things don't work out for whatever reason (rarely happens, we have very few 'returns'), a local foster will be found to take him in and you will get a refund (refund if you let us know within 2 weeks of arrival).
Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, dhpp vaccine (minimum 2 rounds), bordetella vaccine, lepto vaccine x 2, fecal test, dewormed, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm prevention.
Adoption fee: $500 (includes the $230 cost of transport to the PNW)
