My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a young and handsome rabbit with an exceptional command of the art of the binkie - hence his distinctive and unique name of Binkle. Binkle was previously adopted but was returned as his owner could no longer care for him. He may appear to be shy when you first meet him, but don’t let that fool you! He is a friendly and inquisitive rabbit, and the best way to get him to open up is to talk to him. Binkle loves to be told about everything that is going on around him, and once he decides that you are truly worthy he will greet you with headshakes and show off his ever majestic binkies! He is very curious and his favorite activity is exploring and hopping onto and down from different levels. During breaks from his workouts he loves to be petted, and will flatten down like a pancake to offer the greatest surface area for the obliging human who is petting him. Binkle is seeking a loving forever home where he can explore and show off his athletic abilities.

We adopt to indoor homes only! If you are interested in adopting a bunny from Orlando Rabbit Care and Adoptions or would like more information on rabbit care, please visit our website at: http://www.orlandorabbit.org. The first step to our adoption process is to complete an adoption application, which can be found here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/55856/generic . Then one of our volunteers will reach out to you via email to schedule a time to speak with you. If you don’t see the email in a day or two, please check your spam folder!

Our Adoption Fee/Donation for a single rabbit is $100, a pair is $170, and a triple is $200. This helps to offset the cost of having the rabbits altered, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as any medical care that may have been required.

Additional adoption info

For those that want to bond a new rabbit with an existing rabbit, we conduct bonding events where the home rabbit can meet several rabbits to find a potential match. We work with the adopting family to help ensure that the rabbits bond. We take back the adoptive rabbit if there is not a match.

Our adoption agreement specifies that we will take any adopted rabbit back, should the home situation change in the future.

Go meet their pets

We are a foster-based rescue where our available animals are kept in private homes.

You can see our rabbits online, then make an appointment to meet the rabbit(s) you select.

From time-to-time, we conduct adoption events where you can meet multiple rabbits. Because of RHDV2, these events have been paused.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue and educational group dedicated to the health, care and enjoyment of house rabbits. We believe that pet rabbits are family members and should be housed indoors, should be fed a healthy diet, should be spayed or neutered, and should receive quality medical care. Our organization strives to provide bunny parents with information to help them care for their rabbit.
