Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cappy is so-named due to his itinerant journey throughout Capitol Reef National park. He was feral, making his signature hiss when anyone even looked at him. At the time, he was scary and initially had to be handled with a towel as a buffer. Today, Cappy is a brand new cat.
Since we welcomed him to CCAW, Cappy has begun transforming into a "fun uncle" cat. He shared a room with some tiny, spunky kittens after they were weaned, and he took them on as his own. He would even let them "nurse" and snuggle because he knew straight away that they needed some affection.
Today, Cappy is aloof with humans, but happy to be pet. If you stick around after what is today a meaningless hiss, you will realize that like any other feral, he just wants safety and love. Oh, and kittens - he loves kittens, but it's okay if you don't have any. He'll take care of you!
If you're interested in this distinguished gentleman tuxedo cat, come visit us in Torrey, just outside Capitol Reef National Park, or call 435-425-2050.
