Biscuit is a female cattle dog mix almost 2 1/2 years old (born 6/7/22) and resembles a labrador retriever and/or chocolate lab. Her mother was an Australian cattle dog mix. She weighs around 60 lbs and is completely housetrained, crate trained and has full run of the house when unsupervised. She is very affectionate and needs a home with a companion dog to boost her confidence. She loves to cuddle on the couch and at bedtime. Biscuit has been allowed on furniture and sleeps in bed with other dogs. If I could change her name it would be Lollipop because she will constantly check in with a lick. She is medium energy and when excited displays her wiggly butt. She has excellent recall. She is initially nervous meeting new people but opens up after several minutes. She walks great on leash and rides in a car only with a companion dog. A home with a secure fenced yard would be ideal. She may require patience in getting comfortable in new environment and routine.
She is current on all flea and tick and heart-worm preventatives and has been spayed. She is being fostered in Wilmington, Delaware. If you have any questions contact via email the foster mom at ohdgarden@comcast.net.

More about this rescue
We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.
The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.
